At Project Summit, we’re all about helping children with amputations and limb differences have fun, fulfilling and inspiring childhoods – just like any other kid. Our programs help us accomplish this through exciting activities, unique fundraising events and very special gifts. See what we have to offer and how you can get involved!
Project Summit is the only nonprofit in the northern region of Ohio that provides programming for children ages 8 – 14 who are amputees or have limb differences. Donovan’s Kids Camp unites children with and without amputations to help each understand the similarities and challenges that both groups, and all children, have in common.Donavan’s Kids Camp
With all the excitement and challenges of a competitive but friendly ride throughout the northern part of Ohio, Tire Town Bike Tour helps raise funds for Project Summit and our programs. This summer, we’re holding our first event on June 25, 2017, in conjunction with the City of Akron.Tire Town Bike Tour
Wheel and Wings is one of our most unique – and meaningful – initiatives. Through this program, we provide bicycles for children who have lost a limb or who have limited limb mobility. The bicycles we provide are suited for the needs of these children. Project Summit also designs one-of-a-kind bicycles for corporations that wish to support our mission to help others “Feel the Freedom.”Wheel & Wings
